Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to start services?

No. Most individuals can contact us directly to schedule an assessment. Referrals from physicians, hospitals, schools, or other providers are always welcome, but they are not required.

What ages do you treat?

We provide services for children (ages 8+), adolescents, and adults. Treatment recommendations are based on each individual’s unique needs.

What conditions do you treat?

We help individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, life transitions, stress, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

What is the difference between individual therapy and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?

Individual therapy typically consists of one-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist. Intensive Outpatient Programs provide a higher level of care with multiple therapy sessions each week, including group therapy, skill-building, and individualized treatment planning while allowing clients to continue living at home.

How do I know which program is right for me?

Every client begins with a comprehensive assessment. Our clinical team will recommend the level of care that best fits your needs, goals, and symptoms.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes. Select services, including individual therapy and medication management, may be available through secure telehealth appointments when clinically appropriate.

Do you provide medication management?

Yes. Our psychiatric providers offer medication evaluations and ongoing medication management when appropriate as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

What insurance do you accept?

We accept Managed Medicaid, Managed Medicare, major commercial insurance plans, and self-pay options. Our team is happy to verify your benefits before your first appointment.

Do you offer case management?

Yes. We provide case management services to help connect clients with community resources, coordinate care, and support long-term success throughout treatment.

How often will I attend treatment?

Treatment frequency depends on your individualized plan. Individual therapy is typically scheduled weekly or biweekly, while Intensive Outpatient Programs meet multiple days each week.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is extremely important to us. All services are confidential and protected by federal and state privacy laws, with limited exceptions required by law to ensure safety.

What should I expect during my first appointment?

Your first visit includes a comprehensive assessment where we discuss your concerns, goals, medical and mental health history, and any questions you may have. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan.

Can family members be involved in treatment?

Absolutely. When appropriate and with your consent, family involvement can play an important role in the healing process. Family sessions may be incorporated into treatment when clinically beneficial.

How soon can I begin services?

We strive to schedule new clients as quickly as possible. Availability varies, but our team works to connect individuals with care promptly because we understand that seeking help shouldn’t have to wait.

Still have questions?
We’re here to help. Contact our team today to learn more about our services, verify your insurance, or schedule an assessment. Healing starts with a conversation.
